I have been asked by my friend, Brandi Crum, to host a Thirty-One Gifts party for her. Bart and Brandi traveled with us on our first trip to Ethiopia back in October. We both passed court, but they came home to a letter from immigration saying that they were denied due to insufficient income. That meant that they could not move forward in getting an embassy date until they were approved. They have a sweet little 4 year old boy waiting for them. It is truly heartbreaking. Since that time, Brandi has begun working at JC Penney part time and also for Thirty-One Gifts. Purchasing a new purse or bag would help them get closer to bringing their son home.
